California

Get married in a Redwood grove? Why not?

Down Here, Quietest Place On Earth

Up there? Who knows?

I almost feel I can't say hello to passers-by that's how peaceful it is.

Currently giving you, the fans, up to the second action from down here in the Stout Grove. Stay tuned as I set out for ANOTHER area of big trees.

If A Tree Falls In The Forest Does It Make A Noise?

This one does.

Unfortunately pictures don't do these trees justice unless you scale
something to the photo. You can see the bottom of the tree here. I
have other photos of the abundant quantity of firewood nearby.

The ranger told me this bad boy fell over because of wind. Wind!

Imagine on the eve of your 1000th birthday a giant gust of wind
declares it your last day.

I guess that's just life in the big city.

Tree Lined Streets

Redwood National and State Parks.

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK.

I can't stand when people mix up these two trees and call a Redwood a Sequoia and visa-versa. While both trees are impressive Redwoods are taller and their cousin, the Sequoia, is much wider and more massive. Minor pet peeve.

Cape Sebastian - Oregon

Right on the edge!

Pregaming for the Golden State with some Chili Peppers.
